The last dream I had was not very pleasant. I was walking along when I saw a little girl. I asked her if she would come for a walk with me. She said she would be pleased to come. While we were walking along, in front of us stood a high wall, which we tried to climb, and as we got near the top, so we fell down again. I tried to speak to the little girl, but I found she had gone, and I was alone, so I went and turned back, and I found myself on the top of Nelson's monument, and all at once all the four lions came and lay at my feet. I looked at all the people, and they all called to me to come down. I tried to jump, and I found myself in bed.

Source & context

A distinct new1918-era anonymous report; not the Freud tree/three-lions dream. Published historical reported dream: the compiler acknowledges secondary elaboration and fusion with waking material; this is not an independently authenticated untouched manuscript.

Anonymous child writer’s reported dream (Anonymous girl, 13), in C. W. Kimmins (compiler), Children’s Dreams (London/New York: Longmans, Green and Co., 1920), Printed p. 66. Original English University of Toronto/Robarts copy via Internet Archive. Editorial title and navigation metadata added by Synastry; original source wording, uncertainty and paragraph/section divisions retained after scan-confirmed OCR repairs. Historical published report, not a modern Synastry community submission.

No exact dream date inferred from last night/Friday/Sunday. Sourcep18 says most main-school reports collected November–December1918; industrial-school reports March–April1919; deaf/blind-school reports June1919. Collection period is not necessarily dream date.
