I came to Barwick. That night I dreamed that K. B. sent to me in Westminster church, that he was now as desirous to see me, as I him, and that he was then entering into the church. I went with joy, but met another in the middle of the church, who seemed to know the business, and laughed; but K. B. was not there.

Source & context

Laud records being at Barwick in waking life and Westminster church in this dream. His initials K. B. remain unexpanded. A separate June 8 follow-up expresses uncertainty about the dream’s later truth rather than establishing a prediction. The date is June 6, printed year 1633, without a calendar conversion. Source follow-up (William Laud, printed p. 217): "Saturday, Whitsun-eve, I received letters from K. B. unalterable, &c. By this, if I return, I shall see how true or false my dream is, &c."
