I was walking in a huge abandoned city. The buildings were unlike any architecture found in current architectural manuals. The color of stone was monochromatic. The proportions were gargantuan. The perspective almost seemed forced. Wind and sand were blowing, sounding like people chanting. I couldn't understand the words. I saw remains of metal objects buried in the sand. I felt as if I was being watched, yet, saw no one. The entire scenery appeared to darken proportionately around me, until the only light was around me. As that faded to darkness, I felt as though someone was choking me. The darkness itself seemed to take form, as tentacles, wrapping around me. This continued until I couldn't stand it any longer. Then I awoke. With much difficulty, I finally fell back asleep.
