This part is real: I was with a friend in [PLACE1] for the last 5 days. He is an old college boyfriend. We had reconnected on [DETAILS]. After a few emails, I learn that he is living in [PLACE1] and that he is a teacher. He has chosen to spend his summer [DETAILS]. The next school year, he plans to [DETAILS]. I am widowed, have [NUMBER] children and live in [PLACE2]. I thought it might be fun to visit this old boyfriend in [PLACE2]. He loved the idea too, so I went. On my second to the last night there, I had this short dream: I was in the present time, in [PLACE1] with my old boyfriend. We were sitting at a table in a restaurant, eating, I think. My late husband walked up and sat down and said, "Hi". I was startled and I woke up. Upon waking, it took me a minute to realize that it wasn't real. Then, for a very brief moment, I felt a bit of guilt, but it diminished quickly and I drifted back off to sleep.
