Survey and Dream Reports of Visitors to an Online Dating Website (N=1,035) (2022) · Dream Reports.pdf, PDF page 65, Reference ID 7016089

I am in a room which is empty of furniture. the walls, floor and ceiling are painted white, and there is a single window in the wall to my right: I know that I came into this room for a reason, but I can't remember what it was, and now I am afraid to leave: the door is behind me, but I can't even turn around to face it. I know that there is no-one else in this place, but I can hear a faint sound: once I recognise it as a heartbeat, I am terrified, but all I can do is close my eyes and tell myself not to listen
