Survey and Dream Reports of Visitors to an Online Dating Website (N=1,035) (2022) · Dream Reports.pdf, PDF page 73, Reference ID 7047721

I usually have trouble remembering my dreams, but recently I've been taking a tranquilizer before bed and have found that I dream a lot and tend to remember more. The most recent dream was one of body surfing as I did in high school days. I was really catching a lot of great "rides" while not many others were having any luck. The sets were coming in very regularly and I just couldn't miss picking which was the best wave, always caught it, and "kicked out" just at the last minute before the wave capped and colapsed. I remember my last wave. I was having a hard time seeing it because the sun was in my eyes. This beeing odd because I'm from the West coast and all surfing is usually done in the mornings before a crowd shows up. It was concerning me that I was beeing blinded by the sun and was worrying that a wave might sneek up on my and "Cap" on me as they were 10-15 footers and those can really hurt and send you grinding into the bo om. At this point I began to awaken and noticed, in that transition time, that there was a lot of "hissing" sound from the intersection traffic coming through my open window resembling ocean waves as well as the sun was brightly glareing in as well. I'm sure this had a lot to do with the dream content, but I will say, I was having a blast surfing again.
