Survey and Dream Reports of Visitors to an Online Dating Website (N=1,035) (2022) · Dream Reports.pdf, PDF page 83, Reference ID 7143652

This is my new recurrent dream, which replaces my former such dream. In the new dream, I am running through a tunnel or conduit that is on fire and the flames are behind me. I am running and feeling relatively strong, but all around me other runners are falling and possibly succumbing to the flames--I don't dare break stride to turn around and verify this. At the end of the dream, by which point I am in a semi-awakened state, I am emerging from the tunnel into the open air and I feel a tremendous sense of achievement and victory, while still feeling a sense of dread on behalf the fallen.
