Dream report 7173029

In the dream, I was in a library reading a book with some of my peers. I don't know if it was a university library or a public library. As I sat reading a book and facing the doors (which were closed), three individuals with guns (one male and one female about 26 - 26 and a male around 45 years old) burst through. As soon as I saw them, I dropped to the ground and started army crawling to take shelter behind one of the book cases. I wanted to warn the people I was crawling past (because most were reading and didn't see what was happening), but I knew it'd draw attention to both of us and make it more likely that we would get hurt. I got behind the bookcase as they began to shoot. I don't know if they were looking for me in particular or if they were looking for someone else. Suddenly, I remembered that I had recently gotten my conceal and carry permit and the female gunman was gone - either shot or had abandoned the other two. I came face-to-face with the young male gunman, and I could tell he was scared and didn't want to participate. I convinced him to help me stop the older male, who was continuing to shoot people, but he couldn't bring himself to shoot the older male. From the vantage point I was at, I was able to shoot the older male in the right bicep, which then allowed the younger male to disable the older gunman. After that, I don't remember what happened.
