Survey and Dream Reports of Visitors to an Online Dating Website (N=1,035) (2022) · Dream Reports.pdf, PDF page 94, Reference ID 7226553
I only vaguely remember my dreams. The first relates to my ex partner (husband) and his new girlfriend. I was staying in my next door neighbour's house, but it belonged to my parents. He turned up in a camper van with his new girlfriend driving, and she backed into the driveway. I panicked because it was the morning and I was still wearing my nightwear, having had no shower and with no make-up on. As I haven't yet met her, it was important to me that she saw me at my best and in control. As I was upstairs applying my make-up, I could hear my ex and his new lady downstairs chatting with my parents. They all sounded happy, and I remember thinking that it might not be so bad mee ng her a er all. The second set of dreams happened more recently, the night after taking my foster dog to his new home. I kept dreaming that I could hear him walking/moving about, and when I worried about him I could feel him climbing into my bed to be beside me. Silly because I know he wasn't anywhere about!
