Dream report 7246328

I remember being chased by extraterrestrial beings. They had come and taken over the planet and where taking our children. I don't have any kids, but my family and I were taking care of some that we found hiding. I was out with one of them, looking for food, when a man came by and tried to grab her. We managed to escape into an apartment building. While hiding out there, a gorilla came to get her. I had her hide while I tricked the ape into going out on the balcony. I closed the doors to the balcony and stopped him from getting in. (Apparently, he couldn't figure out how to open the doors, or break the glass.) As we left the building, the man from earlier met us. He convinced us that he was only trying to protect us and had us follow him to his place. I had a nagging doubt about him. When we got there, he was greeted by his children. They had a small meal prepared and offered us some. We refused, as I still didn't trust the man. I did, however, accept a drink. Everything went black, and when I awoke (in the dream) the girl I was taking care of was gone. I attacked the man, screaming at him that he betrayed, not only us, but the human race. I knew that he had given her to aliens. He sobbed that he had to or they would have taken his children. I ran from the apartment and saw one of the aliens on top of a car. I grabbed a baseball bat and attacked it. I knocked it unconscious and saw that the girl was laying on the ground. Luckily, she wasn't hurt, but she was scared. I grabbed her and we ran.
