Ero su un'isola della Spagna, a giudicare dal clima molto simile a Minorca, con due ragazze, una incinta e l'altra che era la mia compagna. Siamo stati un po' in compagnia, abbiamo fatto cose. A un certo punto mi sono separato, e per andare a cercare qualcosa come delle sigarette. Qualcosa di stupido. E arrivato ai margini dell'isola sono dovuto tornare a piedi indietro. Finché a un certo punto, per andare avanti dovevo passare una scala fatta di oggetti messi in bilico, l'uno sul bordo dell'altro: nulla, sul bordo di un tavolo, sul bordo di un vaso. C'era una sedia bianca tra gli oggetti. E in fila per passare su questa scala sto passaggio, che portava da uno scoglio alla finestra. C'erano altri ragazzi e ci siamo messi a scherzare, a ridere: questi erano tutti i maschi.

Source researchers verified transcripts, redacted identifying names/places, pruned commentary and false starts/repetitions, normalized punctuation/spelling/regionalisms and spelled out numbers. No local prose edits, translation, trimming or new redaction; all released whitespace and [NAME]/[PLACE]/[INSTITUTION]/[MISS] markers retained.
