Stavo suonando in un concerto. Ad un certo punto, arrivava una parte dove c'era un solo di contrabbasso. Io però non avevo la partitura e allora andavo a cercarla. E quando tornavo vedevo che c'era uno dei miei ex insegnanti che era salito sul palco, evidentemente perché aveva deciso che la voleva suonare lui. Dopodiché, mi trovavo in un'altra sala dove c'erano alcuni tra i miei insegnanti di contrabbasso riuniti. E io provavo resistenza, anche solo nel guardarli. Probabilmente anche nel parlargli. Sensazione era di contrazione, chiusura del cuore.

Source researchers verified transcripts, redacted identifying names/places, pruned commentary and false starts/repetitions, normalized punctuation/spelling/regionalisms and spelled out numbers. No local prose edits, translation, trimming or new redaction; all released whitespace and [NAME]/[PLACE]/[INSTITUTION]/[MISS] markers retained.
