Era una situazione di lavoro, praticamente sapevo di essere in pensione, ma a parte questo stavo comunque lavorando. Non il mio solito lavoro, quello che facevo prima, mi occupavo di caldaie. Però i miei compagni erano i soliti, quelli consueti del lavoro di prima. Non era una situazione di disagio, era una situazione abbastanza tranquilla.

Source researchers verified transcripts, redacted identifying names/places, pruned commentary and false starts/repetitions, normalized punctuation/spelling/regionalisms and spelled out numbers. No local prose edits, translation, trimming or new redaction; all released whitespace and [NAME]/[PLACE]/[INSTITUTION]/[MISS] markers retained.
