Ho passato in rassegna tutti i sogni che ricordavo e che avevo fatto di notte per capire se avrei potuto registrarli stamattina. I miei pensieri vagavano molto in libertà. E quindi, ecco, riflettevo: "Potrò raccontare del sogno che ho fatto stanotte? Quello in cui il mio cane si era arrampicato sulla torre di un convento e non potevo farlo scendere e piangevo, piangevo, piangevo, volevo chiamare i pompieri, volevo far arrivare i pompieri con il materasso?". Lo stavo ripercorrendo pensando se avrei potuto registrarlo oppure no.

Source researchers verified transcripts, redacted identifying names/places, pruned commentary and false starts/repetitions, normalized punctuation/spelling/regionalisms and spelled out numbers. No local prose edits, translation, trimming or new redaction; all released whitespace and [NAME]/[PLACE]/[INSTITUTION]/[MISS] markers retained.
