« Je rencontre dans la rue un jeune homme qui me paraît être de ma connaissance, je l’aborde ; nous nous serrons la main, nous nous regardons attentivement. (Mon rêve est très lucide.) « Mais je ne vous connais pas du tout », me dit alors ce personnage, en continuant sa route. Et moi, très confus, je suis forcé de m’avouer qu’en effet je ne le connaissais nullement. »
