Träume; dass irgend eine Tante, Großmutter, oder auch ein Herr in langem schwarzen Rock (wie Goethe und Philipp Schey) mich durch Säle führt, die in gewisser Beziehung zu den beiden Franckensteins (die Wergenthins meines Romans) stehn, zeigt mir eine Photographie, die stellt dar den Großvater, Meixner, Besitzer eines Hotels (das ich früher irgendwie, auf Spaziergang mit Mama und Tante Marie Schey? gesehen habe). Der andre Großvater ist ein Jude, heißt etwa Moische Israel (so wie einer meiner Urahnen, was ich auch im Traum constatire). Sympathie ja Zärtlichkeit für die beiden Franckensteins im Traum.―
