Traum: Ich erzähle jemandem ― ist es Kainz? Burckhard selbst? von Burckhard, über sein Verhältnis zu Frauen … „Er hat nur gethan, als wenn er sie verachtete“ ― (oder ähnlich) ― oder „er hat sie verachtet,― aber eine hat er geliebt, die hat ihn nicht (und ich finde den Ausdruck B. angemessen) drüber lassen“ … Dann erzähle ich, „noch vor 2 Jahren bin ich mit ihm auf seine Alm (ich sage „Almsee“) hinauf―“ und breche in Thränen aus, mit denen ich noch aufwache.―
