17/7 Früh morgen O. zu mir, aus einem Traum, verweint: Stephi erschien mir mit völliger Deutlichkeit. „Ich bin getrennt von dir durch Geld“ ― das hiess aber eigentlich „Liebe“ ― von ungeheuer fern, Millionen Meilen weit war sie hergekommen, saß am Fußende ihres Bettes. Dann träumt sie ein Gespräch mit mir, in dem ich ihr sage, daß St. seit Dez. meine Geliebte war ―; von U. habe sie sich zu mir geflüchtet ― aber sie habe nur alles mit sich geschehen lassen. „Du weißt, ich habe sie nur als Seele geliebt“ (sage ich im Traum) ― „als Individuum gehasst ―“
