Traum: Ein kahler Saal (wie in einem öffentlichen Gebäude) daneben ein größerer ― ich sehe nur Theile; im kleinen an der Wand in einem Fauteuil stumm und oelgötzenhaft Richard (neben ihm auch andre?―) ― er soll Kaiser von Oesterreich werden;― es werden für alle europ. Staaten Kaiser gewählt; und über all die wieder ein Kaiser, wofür wieder Richard in Frage. Ich wundre mich bei mir, daß ich gar nicht verletzt bin ― und sage mir: es ist wohl wegen meiner Ohrenleiden daß ich nicht Kaiser werden kann. Übrigens behaupte ich (oder wer andrer), ein Engländer würde Oberkaiser; und in Leipzig residiren, mit zwei schönen Hofdamen. Ich wehre mich dagegen, daß wir schon wieder für einen Hofstaat zu sorgen haben.
