Traum von heut Nacht: Auf einem Kahn, mit O.;― plötzlich merke ich, daß sie ganz nackt auf der Ruderbank sitzt. Die Ufer sind fern, und ich weiß, daß die Menge (die ich verschwommen sehe) sie nicht sehen kann; doch verweise ich O. entrüstet ihre Achtlosigkeit, sie springt ins Wasser, hält sich (immer wortlos, und etwas melancholisch) am Kahn fest;― mit einem Mal ist sie in den Wellen verschwunden ― worauf ich, mit Absicht, erwache.―
