Später träume ich, daß ich vor dem Landesgericht aus einem (Schub?) Wagen aussteige, mit andern (nicht sichtbaren) gleich mir, um hingerichtet zu werden. Wenig Leute vor dem Thor, doch ich habe mich keineswegs zu schämen, da ich als Revolutionär hingerichtet werde,― dem zum Zeichen habe ich einen langen Spazierstab, hab ihn aber scheints im Wagen vergessen. Ich gehe in eine Vorhalle, allein, links an einer Art Katheder vor zwei Kerzen sitzt eine Frau (wie Kassierin) ― was irgend wie zum Rituale gehört, einen grau angezognen auch beamteten Menschen vor mir stoß ich unsanft fort;― der Verhandlungsaal (oder Richtplatz) vor mir verschwimmt im Dunkel; ich habe mäßige Angst und tröste mich, daß man ja jedenfalls sterben müsse, wache dann, wohl willkürlich, auf.―
