Traum: Ich will mir meine gelbe Reisetasche holen, die ich in einem Lederwaarengeschäft in der Kärntnerstraße zur Aufbewahrung hin gegeben. Verschwunden. Darüber bin ich ärgerlich, fast schmerzlich erregt; nach einiger Zeit (noch im Geschäft) läuft mir der Besitzer Herr mit breitem kurzen Vollbart nach, die Tasche sei da. Ich nehme sie ― aber es ist eine andre, die nicht mir gehört ― zwar neuer, und mit Leinenüberzug;― auch ohne Inhalt ― da fällt mir zum Trost ein, es seien ja in meiner nur Toilettesachen u. dergl. gewesen, nicht wie ich anfangs gedacht, wichtige Papiere, insbesondre meine Manuscripte.―
