Träume, u. a. von Josef Redlich, der mir, unsympathisch wirkend, sagt, er wolle den Sommer auf dem Semmering verbringen, er wundert sich, dass mir unbekannt sein Bruder Fritz Redlich (der vor einigen Jahren verstorbne) besitze oben die schönste Villa ― ich versuche sie mir vorzustellen;― wandle dann traurig in einem Park, irgendwie der Czartoryskipark, und finde einen Reim: „von der Einsamkeit kannst du wenigstens verlangen, dass sie dir zart streichle die Wangen“,― ich weiss aber, dass das eigentlich eine Übersetzung aus dem französischen, und fühle mich verpflichtet, bei Veröffentlichung die Quelle zu citiren.
