Traum: Anruf aus Berlin (während ich zu Bett!) ― ein Steuer(?)beamter ruft an, ob ich einen Brief an eine Bank gesandt, wegen irgendeiner Transaction (irgendwas mit Hypotheken); ja;― er ist auch schon da, Herr mit blondem Schnurrbart und Zwicker, gibt mir quasi Rath nach meiner Frage: Was würden Sie an meiner Stelle machen;― aber eigentlich benützt er nur die Gelegenheit mich kennen zu lernen;― ob die von mir gewünschte Transaction erlaubt ― ? Er: Eigentlich nicht … (Sinn: ich aber könne es mir erlauben) ― ich begleite ihn zur Thür ― Vorzimmer wie Burgring 1;― ein Herr, ältlich kammerdiener- und pompfunebererhaft wartet;― ich höflich ― warum er nicht auch hineingekommen sei ―
