Upright and reversed cards
A reversed card changes the angle of reflection. It is not automatically a bad card or the opposite of the upright meaning.

What orientation means here
Upright presents the card’s central theme directly. Reversed can explore a blocked, excessive, inward or changing expression of that theme. Synastry provides a specific reversed interpretation for each card instead of simply negating its upright meaning.
Read the actual card
The Star reversed can invite care when hope is hard to feel. The Devil reversed can explore awareness and release. Their directions differ: “reversed” is a reading convention, not a universal label for harm.
An intentional choice
You can include or exclude reversals before drawing. With reversals enabled, orientation is part of the random draw. The displayed art rotates while the card name remains readable, and “Reversed” is written explicitly so orientation does not rely on eyesight alone.
Bring the card into a reading
Begin with one question and read the card’s theme in its spread position. For a birth-card lesson, compare the separately calculated cards in your numerology profile.
