If Mercury has six qualifying contacts and Venus has two, Mercury is more connected under this method. That does not make communication more valuable than relationships or show how skillfully either function is expressed.

Few major contacts do not mean a weak planet, a missing ability or an entirely unaspected planet. Minor aspects and other points are outside this count. Outer-planet contacts also reflect patterns shared by people born around the same time.
