Ein großer Garten,― ich erwarte Alma M., an einem Tisch, eine Dame wird gemeldet,― eine Baronin, ich sehe sie, weiß, elegant; als man (wer?) sagt, Alma sei nicht zu Hause, peinlich ― ich denke, sie wird glauben, Alma lasse sich verleugnen; da erscheint diese selbst, etwas untersetzt, blau gekleidet, küsst mich auf die Lippen;― ich sage etwas zu ihr mit „Du“ ― verbessere mich mit „Sie“ und bin etwas verstimmt, dass sie die „Verbesserung“ gelten läßt …
