The 56 Minor Arcana
Four suits connect reflection to initiative, emotion, thought and practical life.

Four areas of experience
Wands explores initiative and creative action. Cups explores feeling and relationship. Swords explores thought, truth and discernment. Pentacles explores resources, embodiment and practical care. A suit gives the card a context without limiting it to only one kind of event.
Fourteen cards in each suit
Each suit contains Ace through Ten, followed by Page, Knight, Queen and King. Read both the individual card and its suit: the Eight of Cups and Eight of Pentacles have different interpretations even though they share a rank.
Use the detail
If a card seems abstract, ask where its suit is active in your question. A practical routine, an avoided conversation or a creative experiment may offer a clearer point of entry than a sweeping statement about your life.
Bring the card into a reading
Begin with one question and read the card’s theme in its spread position. For a birth-card lesson, compare the separately calculated cards in your numerology profile.

What Tarot can help you explore
Tarot offers a visual language for reflection. Begin with a question, meet a symbol and choose what is useful in your own life.
