Upright meaning
The Moon asks you to notice the space between a feeling and a verified fact. Imagination can reveal a concern worth exploring, but it cannot establish what another person thinks or what will happen.
Reversed meaning
Confusion may be clearing, or an avoided feeling may still be shaping the story. Compare your interpretation with observable information before deciding which part to trust.
Read it in a spread
In Situation, ask where ambiguity is visible now. In Tension, examine its limits or a competing need rather than treating the card as a negative verdict. In Next step, choose a small response using The Moon as a prompt. The position changes the question; it does not make the card a prediction.
A question to sit with
Which part of the story is observable fact, and which part is fear or imagination?
