Five classical patterns describe Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, or Saturn strongly placed in an angular Bhava under specific rules.
The five names
Ruchaka is associated with Mars, Bhadra with Mercury, Hamsa with Jupiter, Malavya with Venus, and Shasha with Saturn. Traditional definitions generally require the graha to occupy a Kendra in its own Rashi or exaltation Rashi.
Interpretation boundary
These yogas can symbolize a concentrated planetary mode. They do not certify superiority, virtue, appearance, career, or life outcome, and exact qualifications vary by school.
