Two systems, two vocabularies
Pythagorean and Chaldean numerology use different letter tables and should be read as distinct symbolic traditions.
Pythagorean
The Pythagorean view maps Latin letters through 1–9 and combines a birth-date Life Path with a detailed name and timing blueprint. It retains 11, 22, and 33 where the calculation encounters those master numbers.
Chaldean
The Chaldean view uses a non-alphabetical 1–8 letter table. Synastry presents a day-of-month Birth Number and a complete-birth-name Name Number, preserving an exact compound total when an audited 10–99 reading exists.
How to use either view
Treat each description as a reflective vocabulary, not a measurement of personality, scientific finding, diagnosis, or guaranteed forecast. Different schools may use different tables, reduction rules, and labels.
