TIMING & TRANSITS

Gochara: Vedic transits

Gochara reads current sidereal graha positions in relation to the natal chart, often with particular attention to the Moon and Lagna.

A separate calculation mode

A Vedic transit must use the selected sidereal ayanamsha, node policy, observation time, and Vedic relationship rules. Western transit aspects are not silently relabeled as Gochara.

Layered reading

A transit can be considered from the natal Moon, Lagna, relevant Bhavas and lords, and supported drishti. It offers a reflective context rather than a promised event.

The Transits tab now supports current sidereal positions using the same selected ayanamsha as the natal Vedic chart, including whole-sign natal-house overlays. Its disclosed supplemental longitude contacts are not relabeled as Gochara or Parashari graha drishti. Moon- and Lagna-centered Gochara judgment, traditional drishti timing, and school-dependent node rules remain outside the current release.
