DC lines: encounter and agreement
The DC angle brings a planetary theme into the space between people: how they meet, negotiate and respond to difference.
The idea in context
A DC line marks the locations where a body meets the western side of the modeled horizon at the recorded birth instant.
MAKE IT CONCRETE
An example to picture
A hypothetical Venus DC reading could prompt two collaborators to discuss what makes the work enjoyable and how credit will be shared.
How to read it
Name the relationship context and ask an open question instead of making a claim about someone else.
A common misunderstanding
A nearby relationship-themed line does not promise a partner, reveal intentions or certify safety.
BRING IT BACK TO YOUR LIFE
A question to sit with
Which expectation would be more useful to discuss than to infer?

The geometry
DC stands for Descendant. The curve describes the setting-side horizon condition in the declared geometric model. It is paired with the AC family, but its plotted position depends on latitude and the body’s declination. A map curve should not be interpreted from its screen direction alone; use the AC or DC label.
The reading context
DC symbolism concerns one-to-one encounters, collaboration and agreement. The body adds the kind of theme to explore. Venus DC can frame reciprocity and enjoyment; Mars DC can frame clear requests, differences and constructive assertion. These themes cannot establish what another person feels or intends.
Keep the people central
Translate a reading into something two people can discuss: expectations, contribution, boundaries or how to repair disagreement. The map cannot locate a destined partner, establish compatibility or replace consent. A relationship remains something people build through actual behavior.
Try reading a chart
Find the same symbol in your chart or a public profile. Compare the displayed positions with the lesson, and keep the recorded birth-time confidence in mind.

AC lines: presence and beginnings
An AC line marks the locations where a body meets the eastern side of the modeled horizon at the recorded birth instant.
